Scrapbooking with your Child

In today's generation, parents are so caught up with their work and busy routine that they hardly find any time to spend with their children. And those who do manage to find time often get lost in deciding which activity to be indulged in with their kids. Options are limited to going to a park, watching a cartoon movie or at the most taking them out to play video games. Only a limited number of parents look on scrapbooking as an alternative.

Scrapbooking is a great way to channel your child's energy towards a creative and constructive end. Its considered to be a therapeutic form of art that will not only benefit your child but also you as a parent. Apart from being a great hobby, it is also an effective way to complement the skills that are taught at the school. Above all it is an excellent way to spend time with your child.

For kids, scrapbooking is a way to craft their treasured memories, which later they can cherish for the rest of their life. It is especially important for today's generation, where kids tend to spend more time in playing computer games or surfing TV channels, rather than doing something more creative. All aspects of Scrapbooking - cutting, pasting, and designing - helps in developing fine motor skills and gives a creative stimulus to your children.

I welcome all parents who would like to bring that change in their child's life to join one of our three Virtual Clubs and start scrapbooking with their young artists. If I get 10 or more parents interested in taking such initiative, I will start designing special kids-themed kits just for them.

Thank you for looking!
